STOPOVER IN MARSEILLE
This year, head to Marseille, an endearing, exhilarating, raw and authentic stopover.
First step, the creeks south of the city.
Walk on the rocky and steep paths, which lead us to heavenly coves with crystal clear waters, the iodized spray, the burning sun, the scrubland, the fishermen's huts remind us that it is soon summer...

Stop at the Baie des Singes restaurant on the edge of a turquoise cove opposite the Ile Maire.
Tasting of grilled fish stocked with the catch of the day.
It feels like on vacation.
Then head to the Goudes marina where our diving boat is waiting for us, an essential sporting activity in Marseille.
The Calanques National Park is home to many of the most diverse spots such as famous wrecks, majestic drop-offs and caves.
Late afternoon, stroll along the old port, imperative stop at Maison Empereur, the oldest and most charming French hardware store dating from 1827, then a gourmet break at Vanille Noire to taste their famous ice cream.
With the sun blushing, it's time to go to the Vallon des Auffes to enjoy the sunset and test the Marseille art of living.
"Chez Fonfon", an essential address to taste the famous bouillabaisse, has already filled up.

Second stage, discovery of Roucas Blanc, a residential area, like a village, in the 7th arrondissement.
Stroll through its small streets and its many stairs that lead us to the heights, revealing sumptuous landscapes: Notre-Dame de la Garde perched on its hill, the Corniche district, the various islands, their forts and castles, and the sea as far as the eye can see... A soothing and rejuvenating walk far from the hustle and bustle of the city.
Stop on the road at the Corniche Kennedy to observe the thrill seekers who brave the danger by diving from the top of the cliff.

Then direction Le Petit Nice Passedat.
Clinging to the Corniche, with its feet in the Mediterranean, Le Petit Nice is this small intimate hotel like Marseille does best.
Stamped Relais & Châteaux, there are only sixteen rooms, facing the sea, a lagoon-colored swimming pool and above all one of the best tables in the city led by Gérald Passédat.
Last swim at the bottom of the restaurant. It's time to go home...
Marseille won us over: an attractive, sparkling city with a thousand and one facets, the beauty of the creeks, the incredible light.
