Taking care of your Apnee swimsuit
Have you just bought a new Apnee swimsuit? Excellent decision!
Carefully designed using eco-friendly materials, your men's swim shorts deserve special attention to maintain their quality, colors and impeccable cut throughout the summers.
Here are the 6 golden rules to follow absolutely to take care of your Apnee swimsuit and preserve your style on the beach and at the pool.

1) RINSE WITH FRESH WATER AFTER SWIMMING
After a dip in the sea or a few laps in the pool, always rinse your men's swim shorts in fresh water. Salt, chlorine, or sand can damage the fabric fibers, weaken the seams, or dull the colors.
2) WASH AT 30° WITH SIMILAR COLORS
Machine wash at a maximum of 30 degrees to avoid damaging the recycled fibers in your swimsuit. Pair it with clothes in similar colors to avoid any discoloration. And above all, place your shorts in a special microfiber washing bag: it's a simple but essential step to limit microplastic pollution in the oceans.
3) DO NOT WASH WITH BLEACH
Bleach is the number one enemy of the technical fabrics and recycled materials used in our swimwear. It degrades the material, fades the colors, and accelerates the wear and tear of the fabric of our swim shorts.
4) DO NOT PUT IN THE DRYER
Excessive heat can cause fabric to shrink, elastic to warp, or seams to weaken. Instead, opt for natural air drying, preferably in the shade to prevent the sun from fading the colors. Gentle drying ensures the longevity of your Apnée swimsuit.
5) DO NOT DRY CLEAN
To avoid damaging your swim shorts, choose a gentle wash at home, which is more than enough to keep them clean.
6) IRON COLD AND UPSIDE DOWN
If you want to iron your men's swim shorts, do so with care. Use a low temperature iron, and always inside out, to protect the fabric of your jersey.

Proper care doesn't just keep your swim shorts looking new: it's also an important step in extending the life of your fabrics and reducing your environmental impact.
