Advanced Performance and Maintenance Tips

Apnea swimsuits are specially designed to withstand the most extreme conditions. The fabric offers excellent resistance to chlorine, salt and UV rays, thus preserving the color and shape of the swimsuit even after numerous uses and exposure to the sun.

Care Tips:

1. Rinse after each use: Rinse your swimsuit in fresh water after each swim to remove salt, chlorine and sunscreen residue that could damage the fabric fibers.

2. Machine wash at 30°C: Use a delicate cycle at a maximum temperature of 30°C with similar colours to avoid fading. Place your swimsuit in a washing bag to reduce the spread of microplastics in the water.

3. Avoid bleach and tumble drying: Never use bleach or products containing bleaching agents, and avoid putting your swimsuit in a tumble dryer. Excessive heat can damage the elastic fibers and compromise the shape of the swimsuit.

4. Air Drying: Prefer air drying in the shade to avoid direct sunlight, which can alter the colors of the fabric. Also avoid rough surfaces when drying.

5. Cool iron: If necessary, iron your swimsuit on a low heat and inside out. However, in most cases, ironing is not necessary for swimsuits.
